
Rough Puff Pastry

Ingredients
- 250 g all-purpose flour (divided into 125 g portions)
- 1 tsp table salt
- 250 g unsalted butter (frozen)
- 125 ml water (chilled)
Instructions
- Place 125 g of the flour and the salt into the bowl of a food processor.
- Use the food processor grater blade to grate the butter into the bowl of the food processor.
- Remove the grater blade and replace it with the plastic knife.
- Add the rest of the flour and the measured water to the bowl of the food processor.
- Pulse the ingredients until they start to clump together.
- Turn the pastry out onto some waxed paper and gather up into a ball.
- Divide the pastry into two equal halves
- Wrap each pastry half in cling film and shape into a disc
- Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before using
